Unfortunately it’s a law to wear masks. We offered to seat you outside if you didn’t have a mask. Your choice to leave. Sorry... Love that restaurant❤️
MoreFor me John G's is the place to go. Their breakfast menu his outstanding. The food is delicious the service is wonderful the whole atmosphere that place is very wholesome. Whenever I have visitors from out of state I take them there and they are never disappointed, and they wish they had a John G's where they live.
MoreI haven't been here for years, and after ordering the fish & chips, and clam chowder for lunch, I was pleasantly reminded of just how great this place is! I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.
MoreAs long as you don't mind going early and standing in line this is an amazing place for breakfast! The service is solid given how busy they are but don't expect them to be at your beck and call. The breakfast is spectacular, especially the French toast but the meat side dishes are exceptional and the other sides are very good. I can't comment on the egg dishes but have been told that they are great as well.
MoreJust finished lunch, wow, what a great meal, very friendly staff and very quick service! Blackened sea food combo was the best, with emphasis on the best! Ate the whole thing!
MoreOverpriced. Loud. Cash only and bring a lot.Specifically asked server if the burgers were fresh, hand pattied ground beef. She said yes so I ordered the Mushroom Burger rare.Got a grey, dry piece of something that was inedible. Fries were tepid and coleslaw runny with mayo.I would have sent it back but, had I done that, my Alzheimer's dining partner would have wanted to send hers back too and that would have been a fiasco. And just a heads up - I'm 63 and I was just about the youngest person there.I'll never go there again. Enjoy your day.
MoreWow! This wonderful, family owned restaurant is still providing outstanding food in generous portions with good service. I had the gazpacho soup, my daughter had the clam chowder, then I had fish and chips for my main - the “petite” version was still more than I could eat. My daughter had the shrimp scampi pasta - and if I could do it over - that’s what I would have ordered. We can’t wait to go back. Remember, they only take cash!
MoreHad breakfast and lunch - great service, excellent food and very clean. Good prices too !
MoreFound this place thru Google and before going in asked someone coming out and they said we'll love it. They were correct. I had their infamous fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. Very flaky fish and well done chips made for a great lunch.

MoreGreat seafood platter (Fisherman's Platter) enough for 3 -meals!
Great restaurant. The only problem is they're open only for breakfast and lunch, and they don't accept credit cards. Cash only.
MoreExcellent omelette. Ate inside. Socially distancing. Felt very comfortable

MoreI’ve been a John G’s customer 30 + years. I always order fish and chips. Today, is the first time my wife and I have have left the establishment empty handed with no doggie bag. The new owners have obviously cut back on the portions. Not the same anymore. So sad to see the place change. I guess that’s the price you pay for now being able to use credit cards.

MoreThis was my first visit. Food was superb. Service was timely. First time I was served a treat while waiting in line to be seated. Will most certainly go there again next time I'm in Florida.

MoreGreat food for both breakfast and lunch. Must try fish and chips. The best I have ever had. And they now accept debit and credit card which is a huge plus.
MoreGreat Breakfast! Go early to avoid line up & wait. Cinnamon Almond French Toast was delicious!😋 large portion with bacon or sausages, watermelon & coffee. Fast friendly service! We were out within the hour!👍

It was ok. But didn't live up to the popularity it has been known for. My cornbeef hash was wet and runny even though it was crisped perfectly on only 1 side. My dad's fried eggs were cold. And the Original French toast was dry. It was the first time for my father and I, and as locals we would hear stories about how they would have a line of people wrapped around the building. I'm hoping it's just because they recently opened after Covid, but I think we'll be sticking to our local Diner fare. EDITED: Dropped to 2 stars because they didn't bring out the entire order and we didn't realize until after we left.

MoreFood was solid but it took forever to get our meal. We were a table of 4 and our lunch came at 3 different times. And not just a minute or 2... Sorry new owners, not cutting it.

We're snow birds and always look forward when we're in the neighborhood to stop and say hello to Wendy. We've been eating at this establishment since it was located in Lake Worth Beach. We brought family and friend (first timer) and was disappointed with the John G's Seafood combo. Although, it was as tasty like the previous owners, it was short a shrimp and scallop. It's a great meal to share with someone but now it makes it awkward splitting the contents. They increased the price of the meal and shorten some of the quantity. If you're going to raise the price keep it the same. The steak fries, which are my favorite had a dusting of spice which was extremely salty. Don't change it if it ain't broke. Not sure it's worth the trip anymore.
